It is a simple compliance requirement and standard for the industry. To utilize and display copyrighted work, proper credit must be given.

We value all of our clients and want you to be in legal compliance with all requirements.

Copyright violation not only subjects violators to criminal liability, but can also cause a ban on many graphic sites and the posting of names and businesses on various publicly posted Walls of Shame.

It is easy to spot a specific artist's work once familiar with their style, and if no credit link is visible the artist will eventually be contacted.

Purchase of our items is for the right to display them in their legal form with all credit links intact. Clients are not purchasing the copyrights. The copyrights are not for sale. All auction template code and graphics are copyrighted and must not be copied, resold, modified, reused, redistributed, shared, given away, emailed, altered, disassembled or used in any other printed or digital form. This includes graphics, backgrounds, images, HTML, template design, etc.

Template may only be used in its ORIGINAL form.

We do not distribute blank banners, logos, buttons, etc. in auction templates.

The Copy Prevention Scripting cannot be removed from the template.

You are purchasing the right to USE the template. You are NOT purchasing the actual graphics, images, code, backgrounds, etc. themselves.

Penney Layne maintains a commercial license for use of any outside artist images and all credit and copyright links MUST remain in the template code.

Purchase of our auction template grants the purchaser the right to use the auction template and all included graphics with a single eBay User ID for your personal or business auctions as many times as you wish.

Auction templates and the included graphics are solely for use as an auction template only and may NOT be used for eBay stores, about me pages, websets, etc. Use of the template graphics outside of the auction template will result in termination of your template “lease.”

Auction templates are non-exclusive and will be sold more than once.

All graphics must remain with each individual template and cannot be interchanged with other templates or removed from the template. No additional graphics may be added to the template other than photos of the item you are selling. Template must remain intact.

You are free to add your title, description, shipping, and other auction information into the template along with your product image url’s. The template is not to be altered in any other way.

Penney Laynes retain the copyright to the auction template design.

We cannot accept returns on auction templates.

Purchase of the auction template constitutes agreement with these terms.
