Your About Me Page will be provided to you in a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file. You can open the .rtf file in Word, Notepad, Microsoft Works Word Processor, or just about any word processing or text editor software. We recommend you save the file to a backup location on your hard drive and maybe even save a copy to CD or DVD as well for safekeeping. Make a copy BEFORE editing so if something happens you always have the original file.
Open the file. Do not be overwhelmed by the amount of code. Just follow the instructions carefully and you’ll be fine. Scroll to the area: Enter your About Me Page Text here
Enter your text here for your About Me Page. Do not worry that the text shows in red. It will NOT display as red when you upload your About Me Page Code. You can separate paragraphs by entering <br><br> in between blocks of text.
Here is an example:
Welcome to my About Me Page. My name is Penney. <br><br>
I am glad you stopped by today.
If text is all you plan to enter, you are finished and ready to Upload to Ebay (continue on down to the Upload Instructions). If you would like to add pictures to your About Me Page, it is simple to do.
To add pictures, you’ll need to upload the images to your image host. You will need an image host for your images. If you do not have an image host, we suggest you set up a free account at http://www.photobucket.com. Click here for complete instructions on uploading your images and obtaining image links.
Follow the directions and upload your About Me Page Images to Photobucket or your own image host. If you are using photobucket for your image hosting, you would first upload your product images to photobucket. This is a screenshot of the image after uploading to Photobucket:

You want to copy the area from the HTML Code box for insertion into your About Me Page. This is important to select the code from the correct box (HTML CODE box) for your template to function properly.
Simply “click” in the box, the code will automatically be copied onto your clipboard. Return to your About Me Page. Below the text you entered previously, enter page breaks
, just after the text you entered. If you have only one image to insert, you are done. If you have more, simply enter the image code, separating with
in between. Now your entry area appears as follows:
Welcome to my About Me Page. My name is Penney.<br><br>
I am glad you stopped by today.<br><br>
HTML Image Code from Photobucket Goes Here<br><br>
Penney will add more text now below the image.<br><br>
And add another image here if she likes.
You may cut and paste your About Me Page Code into www.practiceboard.com and click the view html button as shown in the example below:

If something does not look right, review the instructions and your steps thoroughly. If you continue to have problems, insert your code into the www.practiceboard.com as shown above, and click view html.

A link will appear that you can send to us for troubleshooting your template. We’ll try to respond as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee an immediate response. The link is only valid for a temporary time period.
Now that your About Me Page is ready, we are ready to upload it to Ebay! Follow this link: About Me Page Upload. Log in to your ebay account, and select Edit Your Page.

Next you will see a screen like this:
